Our challenge was to transform a basic white, 80’s inspired Tiburon home to a grounded, intentional, artful, and curated sanctuary – tailored to the warmth and uniqueness of our young and worldly clients. (All without competing with their breathtaking Bay views!) We believe in the power of serene spaces that quietly captivate through soulful texture, sculptural form, and impeccable (sometimes highly imperfect) craftsmanship.
Our focus for this project was on the makers and the unique materials of our overall composition. We celebrate both age-old “primitive” and ancestral techniques alongside cutting-edge technological and artistic innovations. It’s a delicate balance between raw and refined,
where every element – whether sourced locally or around the world – is carefully chosen to evoke thoughtfulness, elegance, and meaning.
As our clients stroll the halls, the Caroline Lizarraga “smoke” mural symbolizes the fiery spirit of creators – a reminder that creativity and authenticity unites us. Our ultimate goal was to craft a space that feels effortless yet exudes elegance. The materials used reflect not
only the passion of the maker but also the soulful glamour of our clients and their travels.
We hope you enjoy it.

We are so thrilled to be included in Marin Magazine’s “Best of the County 2022”! We were so honored to be runners up last year and this year we won the Best of Kitchen Design – Bay Area! We couldn’t be happier!
We love Marin county and this amazing community – thank you for allowing us to do what we love, year after year. Thank you to both Marin Magazine and our supporters for this honor!
Though MAS Design has been around for almost 13 years, our office is relatively new to Tiburon so we are so thrilled to be included (and in such talented company)! We are loving designing for this amazing community, thank you for allowing us to do what we love, year after year. Thank you to both Marin Magazine and our supporters for this honor!
